Phillip Ahn, M.D. is a board certified family physician who has served the needy in the south side of Chicago for his entire medical career. He has made over 25 medical mission trips to developing countries in Latin America, Africa, and the Caribbean. However, he is most famous for his portrayal of the character “Shang Tsung” in the very popular video game, “Mortal Kombat 2” (MK 2). This iconic game has garnered a diverse community of gamers and has maintained worldwide popularity for over 25 years, since filming the role in 1993.
